If you want to add a little spring to your decor and love peonies as much as I do then you will love these free printable spring peony art in four quotes.

Spring! This is my favorite time of year. The flowers and trees had begun to bloom and new life was in the air. The peonies and lilies peeked their noses through the ground.  We had begun to plant our garden with onions, potatoes, and broccoli and lettuce.
…And then there came hard freezes, snow, and sleet alternating with 50 to 60 degree days. It can be very discouraging!!
And yet the days continue toward Spring. It will come! There will be May flowers and summer gardens.
Spring brings forth new awakening after the dormancy of winter.
It is a picture of the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

This brings to mind Ephesians 2:1 & 4-9. “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;  But God who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

We are every one of us, born in sin, because of Adam and Eve’s sin in the Garden of Eden. The Bible says we are dead in our sins. Our spiritual lives are dormant until we realize we are sinners and come to Jesus Christ by faith and ask Him to save us. When we believe the fact that Jesus died for our sins on the cross and was raised from the dead and accept Him as our Savior He quickens us; brings us to new life and changes our position. We can have communication with Jesus Christ through prayer. Just as the plants begin to grow in the Springtime, our new spiritual life begins to grow. Not by our own works, but only through Jesus working in us. If you have never asked Jesus Christ to be your Savior, now would be a wonderful time to do that in this season of new awakening.

Let’s keep looking forward to what God will bring to us!

Nana’s Treasures

My beautiful Treasure for this month is Sonja. Sonja is seven years old and in second grade. She loves school but says recess is her favorite thing. Sonja likes to go to the library, the zoo, and Sunday School with her family. She loves to read and draw. She is the author and illustrator of her own book, “Pony’s Birthday Party”. She also likes to sing, laugh, and play with her sister, Carenza. Papa and I are very proud of our granddaughter, Sonja.
