I John 5:9-11 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
February–Love is in the Air
What comes to mind when you think of February? In spite of the cold winter weather, I think of Valentines Day and the love that is shown in many ways that day. More money is spent on gifts for loved ones on Valentines that any other time of year. And yet, true love comes only from God. He showed His great love for all mankind when He sent His only Son to the Earth to give His life for our sins. He became our substitute, making it possible for us to know how to love, both God and one another.

During these cold, snowy winter days, pour yourself a cuppa tea or coffee, snuggle up and read Elise and Daniel’s story. You can order a paperback copy or download the Kindle edition on Amazon. This would be a great way to finish out the month of February.

Nana’s Treasures
My treasure this month is my sweet, spontaneous granddaughter, Michaela. She is eight years old and in the third grade. Michaela is very thoughtful and helpful. She loves to cook and would like to become a gourmet chef. She also loves animals, especially her cousin’s horses and kittens, when she gets the opportunity to go to the farm in Kansas. She is also a good student and enjoys playing basketball. Michaela brings joy to our hearts. Her Papa and I are very proud of Michaela.
