Nana’s Treasures
My treasure for this month is April. She is nine and in 4th grade. April loves to play sports and is very good in everyone she tries. She and her sister are competing in Upward basketball these next couple of months. April was proud this last Saturday, that she made a “three-pointer” at the buzzer!
April loves Jesus and is active in Patch Club and Sunday School at our church.
Papa and I are very proud of our granddaughter, April.

January is the month when we look forward to new beginnings. Although, winter isn’t my favorite season of the year, (I would rather be warm than cold.) I am confident that God will bring blessings into our lives. We have many things to be thankful for. One of my favorites is the bright, cheery Cardinals, which flit through the bare branches of the bushes and trees bringing color and hope. Another harbinger of hope is the seed catalog we received in the mail the other day. It reminds us that Spring is on its way. If we just wait and have patience the four seasons will come as God has promised.
